In commemoration of the commencement of the Siege of Leningrad, defenders and residents of the Siege of Leningrad are dedicated to our memory day. On the day of the official start of the Siege of Leningrad, on September 8, the Russians of Stuttgart and Strasbourg met in the capital of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg.

The delegation at the "Russian House of Strasbourg" headed by its leader Alla Vasilyevna Sizova, with the support of Consul General of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg, Valery Borisovich Levitsky, came to us in Stuttgart on September 8. Despite the busy working day, they took the time to take an active part in the event dedicated to such an important date of Soviet history. Separately, it should also be noted that the city of Strasbourg is the sister city of Stuttgart. This feature of our good-neighborly relationship between German and French cities, which strengthens the partnership relations of Russian compatriots on different sides of state borders, but within the European Union.
